I don't normally talk about my #UlcerativeColitis it’s a subject I find a little tedious, and since my ileostomy it doesn't normally bother me, but occasionally like today I was wiped out by fatigue.

Fatigue always leaves me feeling heavy in my body and foggy in my mind. It also stopped me spending the day working on my next publication, my OSE #Bri-Fi setting.

Which is annoying.

Being raised by someone who would only go to the hospital if they were literally dying and then ending up with a chronic condition in which I second-guess going to the hospital when I’m in severe pain is truly *chef’s kiss*.

Thanks #trauma.

This is very serious business. Going on memory, my barber needed surgery because of long-term use of medication for Crohn's disease. He died of some complication from the surgery. He had the surgery, he seemed to be recovering well, and then, quite suddenly, he was gone.

Today we once again start the journey of "can I eat that?!"

I've pared back to safe, simple foods and today I tried GF bread to see if it feels different to white or sourdough.

Spoiler alert: it was not pleasant. I drowned it in extra marmite just to get it down. The texture is all wrong. But over the next couple of hours we'll see how my colon reacts to it!

I will suffer terrible texture to have a marmite delivery system.
