"This thesis presents the first known implementation of a model checker for the Java memory model JAM21 within the GenMC framework - a tool for stateless model checking using custom memory models. [..] We provide a formal proof of equivalence between the new vector clock algorithm and the original implementation to ensure correctness."

J'ai déplacé mon compte d'astrodon.social vers sciences.re, donc il est temps de faire une nouvelle #introduction. (version anglaise au dessus)

Je suis Yaël Moussouni, actuellement étudiant en #master (et #doctorant à partir d'octobre) à l'Observatoire astronomique de Strasbourg (@ObsStrasbourg). Je travail principalement sur les amas globulaires extragalactiques et leurs populations d'étoiles avec @karinavoggel et Ariane Lançon.

Je suis aussi impliqué dans la médiation scientifique en #astronomie en tant que médiateur scientifique au Centre Astro de St.-Michel-l'Observatoire durant l'été.

Enfin, durant mon temps libre, j'aime bien prendre des photos d'oiseaux (entre autres), jouer de l'orgue et de la guitare, faire de l'escalade et fut un temps, piloter des planeurs.

Merci beaucoup à @sebinthestars pour avoir maintenu l'instance astrodon pendant aussi longtemps!

I wanted my son to go to the USA to do his #master's thesis, and we prepared everything.

Now I have told him not to go to the USA. Even though the chance is slight, if they pick him up as a foreigner, there is nothing that I can do for him. I might not even know that he has been picked up, let alone where he will be held.

Risk is a combination of chance and outcome.

And in the #USA, without due process, the potential outcome is now so disastrous that it is not worth the #risk.

Salut les dev, j'aimerais bien vos avis sur ma poursuite d'études.

Je vais bientôt obtenir mon titre RNCP de Conceptrice Développeuse d'Applications (CDA).
J'envisage de poursuivre avec un Master d'ingénierie en architecture logicielle au CNAM. Ça veut probablement dire continuer sur 3 ans d'études en alternance (L3 -> M2).
J'ai 29 ans, j'aime programmer et je me sens encore novice après 2 ans de formation à l'école Simplon. Je me pose des questions sur la pertinence de cette formation, la nécessité d'avoir un Master aujourd'hui, et globalement le fait d'être étudiante à mon âge senior ! Merci d'avance :shibasmile:

Even with their #expensive #crm #serviceTitan #efficiency #constantContact #app tool for #scheduling and #pricing their new #super #skills #company needs to charge more for everything with less experienced #workers than if you had a #momAndPop #master do the work!

If anyone truly wants to #save the #Planet everyone needs to kick #bro out of the #game

Anyone that thinks replacing #human #skills and #abilities with #software and #machines is better for the #Environment than letting a human expell their own #energy doing the same things, is the problem, not part of any real word solution.
