Bad news: we have to leave the spot we have been living in for a while, soon soon.

Good news: we have been offered help with transport to state that we more had in mind.

In the meanwhile, we need the funds to get ready!
We need to keep covering our car and insurance payments, we need to arrange a spot to move to. We need to increase our monthly pledged support to make our new labstead/homestead happen, a place the Vulpibus and Leaf can call home.

#Introduction
So here I am, someone who tried and failed Twitter numerous times, now attempting to get a handle on this 😂 I don't know if I'm on the right server, I guess time will tell!

I'm a #PhDStudent at #NewcastleUniversity using #animalBehaviour, #neuroscience, #physiology and #socialScience to improve #laboratory #animalWelfare (jeez that's a lotta hashtags!). 🐀

In my spare time I enjoy hunting, identifying, and sometimes even eating #fungi. I also like #photography and #baking vegan goodies 🍰

A food dye that helps give certain sodas and snacks (like Doritos) their hallmark orange hue can temporarily turn biological tissue transparent to the naked eye. Scientists have used the dye, called tartrazine, to see the organs in a mouse’s intact abdomen, glimpse the pulsing vessels surrounding a rodent skull, and to get an exceptionally clear view of muscle tissue through a microscope. Could this method spur new scientific findings? Popular Science has more: flip.it/wm.9iW
