Played a #meme team league game of #BloodBowl - my squirrel #Khorne versus Joost's Amish #ChaosDwarfs

Brutal game. 1st half I crowd surfed half of them and scored. Blood Spawn (Rabbit of Caerbannog) did zero removals.

2nd half he started with 3 removals, 1 being the Blood Spawn via Officious Ref, and then I diced myself.

Final results
1-2 touchdowns
3-3 casualties
1-8 fouls

What a belter of a game

Squirrels on skull piles on lava bases standing off against Amish women hobgoblins, chaos dwarf Amish farmers and a cow

The scuffle is on! Everyone is pushing everyone!

My dugout: 1 giant skull pile with a white bunny in the sin bin, 3 marauder squirrels and 1 bloodseeker squirrel in the dead & injured box, and2 bloodseeker and 2 marauder squirrels in the knocked out box. Given that my team had 11 players to start with, this was rough AF

My last shot at his ball carrier, double skulls, as a show of idk how many skulls and ones throughout the second half of the game

@nerdlings behold! Finished my #Mordheim #Chaos hounds. I love these sculpts and Knucklebones has done an amazing job sculpting them!

5 absolutely fked up big hounds with human faces. And not just human faces but derpy ones. One has aviator goggles on because that's what you do as a hound with a human face. They are posed against the backdrop of a city wall in lush grass. Sadly the grey flagstones of their ruined city bases standard quite a bit against the lushness.

Busy days again. Finished more or less the bookshelves for #RangersOfShadow Deep, bought a giant #HumbleBundle in STLs which I downloaded and categorised, and stuck some Green Stuff World static grass on my #TrenchCrusade ruin base. I bought it when I didn't know yet how much of a s*** company it is and this is not great grass. More sad pubes, like. GSW sad pubes.

Four of the teams are in the 40s for points - 20/10/0 (W/D/L) with 5 bonus points max for touchdowns and casualties is a good discerning ruleset. Chaos are one and also leading on casualties AND fouls!

Also, 1 student is building the Battle of Stamford Bridge at scale

Desert themed blood bowl seventh pitch with Norse on ice and snow bases versus Skaven on neon disco bases

Dude painting a Thomas the steam engine wagon with a very manically happy face. And that's the wagon and not the student!

Swamp themed blood bowl 7s pitch with Cambuur themed necromantic horror versus count bin face themed vampires. It was a good undead off.

First outline of the River of the Battle for Stamford Bridge. The display will be about 150 x 150cm and there are piles of XPS foam in the background

Blood bowl nerds sat around squinting very hard and looking very very focused

Dugout of squiggs vs amazons. Mangler squig is in reserves, cave squig is in the knocked out box, and three squig herders are in the Dead & injured box.

Humans versus Amish chaos dwarves. The bal is on the floor and contested by Humans and Doors while there's a big old scrum a way off involving an ogre and minotaur

Giant scrum between imperial nobility and simyins. both teams have painted by their owners which makes the game the game look really enjoyable

Monday was #WarhammerAlliance evening, played #werewolves with the students and had a flat tyre when I wanted to drive home.

Tuesday was a stressful day in school and I rekt the gear shifter on my bike when riding home. Painted a therapy #RangersOfShadowDeep ogre.

Tonight I worked on my #TrenchCrusade bunker with my trial paint scheme. No traffic issues.

Small gothic sci-fi or religious idiot bunker with the colours orange and turquoise which makes it look like it's some lizardmen thing apparently. Strong highlights with yellow and verdigris.

80% complete painted ogre with lazy weak ass NMM on belly plate, shoulder guard and spiked club. he looks particularly happy to beat you

Student's werewolf for blood bowl. The thing is looking angry in itself and they've painted the skin in Gray, armour plates brown with cyan highlights, and cloth red.

After a bit of brush work, I'm done with those models.
The liquitex inks dry very glossy, and I should have applied a mat varnish before attempting anything.
The shade around the mouth of the fire mouth thing didn't apply nicely.

Went to Leeuwarden to pick up a set of #OilPaints for #MiniaturePainting. That was 30m on the road, 30m getting informed and finding the best colours for my purposes, and 30 minutes return journey. And then I cleaned yesterday's brushes with thinner.

Pushed the white highlights on my #InfinityTheGame model for #FediPaint and am still enjoying #OilPaints.

However, let the record (the macro shot, that is) show that i need to invest in more expensive paints (these are the cheapest from Action - Dutchies and Germans know) and better brushes (these are AliExpress cheaps i had lying unused for years).

Started on my #InfinityTheGame model for #FediPaint and used #OilPaints for everything but the primer.

Ofc it's very rough on a tiny model and only the result of ~30m, but I'm really enjoying this! Can make blends like a wild Rembrandt, and get really interesting results without a lot of effort (yh i know I've got some waiting to do lol)

Worked on my #Mordheim Northern Wastes Inbreds a lot

Sure, for a ragtag bunch of men so down on their luck that they're heading into a recently ruined city that's a proper gang battleground, they're looking a bit... Flush with gold? But I don't mind lol.

Fixed many white spots. Think, barring the basing, I'm 1 or 2 sessions away from completing.

Took fellow #history and #art nerd Bob to the #DrentsMuseum. They are having an exhibition of gold from #Dacia / #Romania which is impressive, but the #museum itself is top notch too!

Bob taught me the game Steal Borrow Burn, where in every room or exhibition section you decide which belongs in which category if you could. Can 10/10 recommend but ignore the weird looks people will give you.
