GerardA couple years ago just before Christmas season I was talking to my girlfriend about returning to the hobby after twenty years because I kinda missed it and to be honest today's minis are awesome, slightly bigger and more detailed. She surprised me with the Goff Rocker miniature and some paints, and that was it. Whenever I try to do thinner layers, I end up with poking and tide marks, and even though I try to build up the jagger, it still doesn't look smooth. It still took all night, and I've only managed the leaves, not the actual branches.
