Olivia:“Walter, you’re not gonna accidentally fry one of those pigeons?“
Walter:“Stranger things have happened.“
Peter: “it’s his motto.”

I love the way they wrote dialogue on #Fringe.

My pal Sanjay needs help making his first Edinburgh #Fringe show happen.

Love Me Like a Chai Tea Latte is a "rooted in his lived experience growing up as a brown, queer, working-class person in Scotland, this show is a love letter to identity, family, and finding your voice in a world that often mispronounces your name."

If you have the means to help, please do consider it! gofund.me/ce58af6b

Fromis_9 -- Chaeyoung

I'm glad that the remaining members of Fromis_9 have managed to hang onto the group's name, although I will miss the others. I wonder what sort of sound they will have in the future.

I thought hard about this picture before posting it, because even for a dedicated bangsbeliever/fringeophile like myself, this hair might be too much. Then I looked again, gave in, and decided to post, moderation be damned.

Our amazing Small City #Fringe festival ended last night here in Aotearoa #newzealand I saw 25 shows and I'm slightly delirious and absolutely bonkers with inspiration.

BUT if you're someone with a Fringe Festival in your neck of the woods, I can't encourage you enough to go.

Fringe Festivals are where alternate voices can live and thrive, they're where ideas can be explored in interesting, odd and sometimes deliriously funny ways. They're spaces for introspection, celebration and joy.

All the ones I've attended are safe spaces for people of all makes and models to share their stories (or mad skills) with audiences that can feel seen and heard.

From kickass trans cabaret performers to 70 year olds trying their first stand up to... you name it... there is room for everyone.
So yeah, you might even have a fringe festival in your city and not realise it. And if you do, why not check it out.😊

That is all. I'm off to sit in the garden, have a cup of tea and to try and get my voice back after absolutely whooping my lungs out at last night's amazing cabaret closer.

Any typos spotted in this post are contemplating tootling down to their nearest cafe for a Sunday morning cheese scone and a strong cup of coffee. If spotted, please wave from afar. Conversation is not something extroverted introverted punctuation can do for at least another hour or so.

Watching #Fringe. That show had some fascinating false starts. They'd start story lines or introduce characters, and then change their minds. Like in the season 2 premiere, when they introduced Meghan Markle as another agent on the Fringe Team. She appeared briefly in S2E2 and then disappeared to Mandyland. I wonder what happened there?
