Coming back to dock after my afternoon adaptive sailing session.

The blue partial inflatable boat is the newest safety boat in RVYC fleet.

Early morning, at #SaanichInlet.

Signing off with a walk this way shot, this evening. One of my fave up island seafood harvesting quiet spots.

My friend is moving his boat over to Brentwood Bay from Cowichan docks next week. This is part of the smaller marina he will be towing it to.

Found 2 quiet, new to me, public access spots to go try some crabbing & shrimping real soon. I need to get some new ropes for my traps.

Both spots are less than 5 minutes apart & only 20 minutes drive from our home. The large public piers in Sooke & Sidney are way too busy/crowded for me to enjoy these days. I've been scouting for new spots to go crabbing/shrimping. Very happy to have found 2 new, isolated spots today. There was only one boater at the docks. There was no one at 2nd shore harvesting spot.
