Rails for a travelling crane, probably dating from the early 1900s, on a former quay side on the Upper Harbour of the Clyde in Glasgow (see map on the right). While such cranes are now long gone, you can find surviving sections of their rails along much of the Clyde Walkway between Glasgow Green and the Riverside Museum. These ones are just off Clyde Street.

Found 2 quiet, new to me, public access spots to go try some crabbing & shrimping real soon. I need to get some new ropes for my traps.

Both spots are less than 5 minutes apart & only 20 minutes drive from our home. The large public piers in Sooke & Sidney are way too busy/crowded for me to enjoy these days. I've been scouting for new spots to go crabbing/shrimping. Very happy to have found 2 new, isolated spots today. There was only one boater at the docks. There was no one at 2nd shore harvesting spot.
