I just had an absolutely horrible thought.
How do you make storypoints work with vibecoding? 🤔 Incorporate tokens used, time to "onboard" the bot onto the right track and time/effort to bugfix after the bot leaves things out? Also standups... 😱 do you ask Claude or GPT to summarize 😂? #DevLife

I've been learning #gamedev for 3 months! I've used 2 engines (one framework), made 4 games and entered a #gamejam. This video is a look back at those first 3 months, the games I made, the jam results and a look ahead at what's next in my #gamedevjourney youtu.be/bBjLFJ7NtBQ #solodev #devlife

youtu.be- YouTubeEnjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

🚨 IT’S DONE.

After months of grinding, coding, tweaking, testing, and plenty shouting, I’ve officially launched TEENVERSE — the first teen-only social platform that combines:

⚔️ Hype Battles (Rap, dance, meme wars)
🎭 Anonymous Rant Zones
🪙 Virtual Coin Economy

Built for teens (13–19) only. No adults. No corporate BS. Just real Gen Z energy.

💻 Tech Stack: React + TS, Node.js, SQLite

This is so damn true. I didn't even make a game, but had to study gamification and implement a scoring system for user activity for a project I was on. I couldn't look at games the same way again.

I found my inner voice saying things like "Oh I get double points for catching that star? Awesome! Who the hell put that star there? What do I get for these amazing double points? Woo hoo, what can I buy with bragging rights?"

Most memorable quote of the week:

"If you are dramatically changing, you might even say obliterating the market for that person's work, and you're saying that you don't even have to pay a license to that person to use their work to create the product that's destroying the market for their work-I just don't understand how that can be fair use."
US DISTRICT COURT JUDGE VINCE CHHABRIA to META LAWYER KANNON SHANMUGAM

I'd like to make 2 changes to the software industry.

1. The removal of AI. Let’s just pretend it never happened, so we can try again in 50 years with a more ethical and sustainable approach.

2. Find a way to include the use of lasers in software development. Where would we use them? How would they be implemented? I have no idea. These are questions without answers. I just know I want lasers, because lasers are cool 😎
