Implemented ladders (they are HARD to get right), first hurting entity, death and respawn.
Finished my entry for #redpilljam - it's the only submmission ;) Depending on the mood of the day I guess I can choose if I made first or last place. It's okay though, I had fun; it's my first shooter-type game and I am still confused about the many small differences in #genres - is this an action-adventure? I hear Tetris being called that.
Made in #Defold, my first #animations, my superfirst #particleFX, things are definitely improving.
If you want to feel good about your progress, just split every task into ten small tasks :)

I wonder when I'll be good enough at programming to do such tools myself, or brush up the ones I can find. I was pretty annoyed that there is NOT A SINGLE simple offline calendar. Everything's online! Why?!

@SilverEagle I think #TheDamageIsDone and #IndieDevs have chosen to not trust #Unity3D when @godotengine is a feasible option for them and everyone else is treating them better...
I mean, there's a reason @defold got built (at least in part) by big #publishers because they don't want suck up yet another #PriceHike on their #Enterprise plans...
Not to mention more and more folks started with the whole @Blender / #blender + #GodotEngine / #Defold / ... tech stack and the big advantage #UnityEngine had - it's integrated and easily accessible #AssetStore - is waning.
