You don’t see many of these in the UK. A 57 Plymouth I believe, but with harsh sodium street lights I’m not sure if it was yellow or white. I’m sure I remember reading most left the factory in white, but thankfully it wasn’t red and driving itself…

So, here’s the 1925 British Leyland Trojan, now the last #VintageCar left in my family. My Dad pulled the first parts of it out of an irrigation canal in Griffith, NSW; and rebuilt it, starting before I was born - maybe in about 1966 or so. It’s a chain drive, with an epicyclic gearbox, 2 spark plugs, 7 moving parts in the engine. There are probably only 5 in Australia (1 in the Powerhouse museum, apparently) and according to the Trojan Owners Club, less than 100 Trojan cars, vans, and trucks left in the world - most in the UK. Dad’s is in now in #Adelaide. (One day soon it will need to be rehoused but not yet.) Coincidentally - today is my brother’s birthday. He’s now 52. #WeirdCarMastodon
