Just hours after MPs voted to cut Universal Credit, the DWP quietly dropped new figures revealing a sharp rise in deaths linked to benefit claims.

So why wasn’t Parliament told before the vote?

Where are the missing safety recommendations?

We’re asking what ministers won’t.

Vox Political · Osborne wants a ‘year of hard truths’. Here’s one: He’s HIDING the truthBy Mike Sivier

Reform UK and some Conservatives demanded immigration data on Universal Credit claimants — hoping to stir up outrage.

But the truth is far less dramatic.

Everyone getting UC is legally entitled to it.
The data tells a very different story than the headlines suggest.

Continued thread

I care for someone who lives in a near state of constant anxiety, thanks to the narrative created by successive governments, parroted by MSM.

They didn't ask to be born with a disability. Surely that was 'punishment' enough.

Providing insufficient £s to even exist much less enrich life is eugenics.

I care for a vulnerable person.

They constantly feel under threat. In the past, who would have ever thought this could get worse under a #Labour government?

Today I received this person's migration notice to #UniversalCredit .

I feel sick.

A quick search evidences that most people are worse off following migration. They are far from living the life of luxury as it is.

I'm dreading what is to come...

They'd probably be better off if I died as they are my sole beneficiary.

UK politics, social security / benefit payments, mh--, semi-suicide threat, but also stubborn enough to live just to spite the wannabe-tories

I've been sent a letter forcing me to move from ESA to Universal Credit. I need to claim for UC. The last assessment was absolute hell. I am rubbish at these things and fear for my future.

Thanks Labour; for the working class my arse. They are no longer left wing, they are all for the employees and capitalism.

I will be sticking with voting Lib Dem next election. This government is hardly better than the Tories.

Just got the notification through regarding our #UniversalCredit claim and they've ended the review and our UC will continue without change.

To say I feel relieved is an understatement; this review has been *on* me for a month now. It's affected my mood, it's caused nothing but anxiety and stress....but it's done and we can start moving forward again.

Honestly. I feel reborn.
