The Child Success Act in #Oregon is dedicating $12 million to several pilot projects around the state that will help with pregnancy and early childcare. In Lane County, it will be used to make a one-time payment of $1,500 to pregnant mothers and $500 per month for 24 months afterwards. How do we fight the racism and sexism in this country? First of all, we have to provide an alternative. Push policies like #MedicareForAll, #BasicIncome, strong unions, and a #GreenNewDeal. Offshoring, child labor, migrants, and other cheaper labor arbitrage.
