Just discovered #Showgunners, a turn-based #tactics #game set in a dystopian reality show where killing is entertainment. It’s like #XCOM meets The Running Man, with live commentary, deadly traps, and a thirst for fame.
You fight through brutal arenas as a contestant, facing enemies, environmental hazards, and sudden twists. Combat is punchy and fast-paced, with strong visual flair and a slick sense of showmanship.
What caught my attention? The mix of classic tactical gameplay with a satirical media-circus vibe. It’s stylish, violent, and surprisingly smart.
Definitely worth a look if you're into tactical #games with personality.
Who else is playing FreeCol on Linux? Ah, these were the days for good gaming, the '90s. This open source game closely resembles that era.
I tried out Fantasy Kommander: Fascination of Evil and while the game isn't for me, I can see it doing well in the niche it fills

Hunt For Aurora adds a new boss, weapons, missions, and even a lucky dog, four years after launch.
But here's the twist: this expansion wasn’t made by #RomeroGames, the original devs. Instead, it's from #Moonmana, known for a rather dodgy pirate MMO.
I haven’t touched the game in ages, should I give it another shot now?

Probably the last Big Core System: the INVASION. With every new floor, the Invasion progresses, activating on its way a random set of Calamities. The only way to reduce the invasion is to activate Cursed Keys... but those will summon the Guardian! #Godot #gamedev #turnbased
