Whispers of Spring
In Orchard Glen where stillness sings,
A gentle bloom of angel wings—
Apple blossoms, soft and white,
Awake the world in morning light.

Their petals float like scented snow,
In sunlit rows they gently glow,
As if the earth began to dream,
And stitched the air with lace and gleam.

Here, spring speaks in whispered song, Where blossom days are brief—but strong, And beauty blooms, then drifts away— A fleeting prayer of pink and gray. ++++++++ This is to help us remember, there is some beauty and good in the world. “One last night on the GR20 trail, at I Paliri refuge”

The I Paliri refuge is located in the Monte Incudine massif in Corsica, France, which includes the famous Needles of Bavella.

The refuge marks the last night for many hikers on the GR20 trail.

1. To get away from normal life and to get refreshed a little bit.
2. To hike.
3. To learn some new techniques...
4. And to capture a certain picture that I had in my minds eye.

Badlands National Park Wall South Dakota So this whole purpose of this trip was: 1. To get away from normal life and to get refreshed a little bit. 2. To hike. 3. To learn some new techniques... 4. And to capture a certain picture that I had in my minds eye. That certain picture was to be the majestic badlands (The grand canyon of the Midwest) in morning or evening light, you know, sunrise or sunset time frame. Well it was only the first evening that we were there did we get any light conditions like I was looking for. So while I did not get the perfect shot I was looking for, I did have a great adventure. Four guys from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, went to the SD badlands for an early spring adventure.
