Here is an animated stereogram of the quaternion Julia fractal I posted previously. Try to look at the two images "crosseyed". You should be able to see a single 3D image between the outer two.
I've never been able to see Magic Eye pictures with or without my eyeglasses. My imagination can create all sorts of pictures from them, though rarely the one it actually is.
The optical device is the only way I can see the #Stereogram effect.

Reminded me that at the Peterson Christmas festival one of the houses that hosted vendors had a basket full of these and the optical device to see them. It was really neat.
When your mom says you have to get your hair cut for class pictures but you're not feeling it.
This is great. A Stereogram 3D rendering in Apple II RPG fashion done by Lee Fastenau, that I spotted on Fb.
As he says, "only the truly enlightened will see the image..."
found this gem in the treasure trove of the enhanced colors images released today by the Mastcam-Z team; captured two weeks ago by Perseverance somewhere along Summerland Trail, in Stereo3D, Sol 1341.

Currently making View Master discs for a show in San Francisco. Made using transparency film and laser cut recycled paper, the work will be displayed on this vintage (1950s) View Master.
This work is about fog and trans visibility and is part of a larger body of work on the same subject.
Thinking about the potential of low/no power display technologies of the past and what their formal qualities (in this case 7 stereographic images in intimate proximity of the body) might offer.
can you see the hidden message in this 3D stereogram (magic eye) image?
@yurnidiot
I still have a book full of these things. Fun stuff!
