Looking like a sinus infection will prevent me from attending the #protest in #SanDiego tomorrow. If I can be vertical for more than 30 minutes tomorrow morning I’ll drag myself in (fully masked of course). Thumper is officially adoptable! 
He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and would be a perfect fit for a family as he’s very sweet and affectionate, good with kids. He loves his snacks, and is looking for his forever home (& possibly a bunny girlfriend?!).

When a 5.2-magnitude #earthquake hit Southern #California on Monday, five African #elephants at #SanDiego Zoo Safari Park formed a protective "alert circle" that lasted about four minutes.
Zoo footage shows how the adults positioned themselves with backs together and faces outward while young Mkhaya ran for safety between them. Meanwhile, young Zuli stayed at the edge, receiving reassuring trunk taps from his caretaker Khosi.
