Seaport village is right behind the convention center and you can walk around. Great views of the Coronado Bridge, boats, the bay, etc plus shops, restaurants. You can walk from there all the way to the Start of India (1860's ship) and USS Midway (aircraft carrier). It's flat and an easy walk.<br>The other way, into Gaslamp, is everything from upscale restaurants/bars to local pubs. Friends and I always hit up Tivoli before Padres games.
