This was 24 years ago today. I had been saving for a printing press for a while, decided instead to go overseas figuring I never would be able to again. See art.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Water and I had connected on the eBay message boards, building a long-distance relationship over a couple years. Yeah, but before catfishing, so shaddup. 😁
I convinced her to join me. We met in O'Hare international, spent 3 weeks being happily, stupidly awkward. Not awkward anymore.😉

#ThrowbackThursday to when I used to go to NAIT for website design and in my one class we had to draw an animal in a bunch of different styles. I got too much migraines to continue with my classes so this was all I made for my project. I wonder what life would be like if I could have finished and actually went with making websites for a living?

#ThrowbackThursday to my first time playing Respectable Street "Punk On The Patio" 2025.02.21 #tbt (Vid description: a white guy with long hair DJing at a big table. The background has industrial looking power lines and then behind that is a high rise apartment building.)

#ThrowbackThursday Here is a ~20 year old plot showing the frequency distribution of client source port usage at an edu #DNS resolver. Notice how the most common ports started at around 1024? That was Microsoft Windows. This picture should look a lot different if I were to redraw this today.
