As stated above, #Pakistan 's electricity grid is in serious trouble post the #solar revolution on last year (almost 30% of total national demand - 11,000MW - added in #rooftop solar in just 9 months in 2024).

So much so that the government has had to cancel or abandon future power projects, and renegotiate standing contracts with IPPs (Independent Power Producers, or private power companies).

The average turnkey price of a typical 7 kWp household #rooftop #solar system in #Finland has dropped to 7.700 €, as demand slowed down and there are no more shortages in component supply or skilled installation personnel.

Households can also apply for a 40% tax rebate on the installation work, which probably brings the total cost to below 1 €/Wp.

Demand for batteries and DSM automation exceeds expectations. There is no feed-in tariff so consumers try to avoid feed-in.
