I'm a #Pastor , retired early due to disability. My degrees are in #Psychology and #Divinity . In spite of brain fog, I enjoy reading academic work and would love to learn more on the above topics plus #sociology #history #ecology #neuroscience and #cognition . Always a #nerd at heart.

I also love #Dragons #StarTrek #BoardGames and #Whales . Send pretty pictures and SFW memes as long as they have image descriptions, thanks.

Also please recommend any great follows on these topics. Especially experts who love to share their work with the general public.

Still figuring out if/how exactly I want to use this platform. Don’t get me wrong, connecting with new people and seeing photos of moss and not having all the Twitter trauma built in is nice. But I always like to have an articulated purpose for any online space. Otherwise it either becomes “one more thing” or just slowly fades from my radar.

Most of my work typically revolves around #ProgressiveChristianity or #DigitalMinistry. Other interests tend to be #parenting and #running.

Any ideas?

I am an #Exvangelical. #Agnostic PK (Preacher's kid/ pastor's kid).

Right on the very outside edge of #ProgressiveChristianity.

I do not believe in a deity or the supernatural, and I describe myself as a 'Humanist'.

But I also still absolutely love so much about the stories, the #church, #music, #art, #architecture, #liturgy etc., especially 'high church'.

My journey included briefly being put forward for the #Anglican priesthood.
