I have an army of snek plants and one renegade poinsettia. Like all children, I like throwing them outdoors in the summer to be loud somewhere else.

Generally they love it. Lots of sun and bugs to play with! But figuring out the right time to do it is tough.

myrmecochory, seed dispersal by ants, is quite neat, but sometimes it's not enough on its own:

"Perhaps due to the relatively limited distance that ants disperse seeds, many myrmecochores exhibit diplochory, a two-staged dispersal mechanism, often with ballistic projection as the initial mechanism, that can increase dispersal distance by as much as 50%.
