@grrlscientist Also the idiots in German government and companies still don't get it.
Just a month ago in the French Parliament forbes.com/sites/emmawoollacot

But here they still put their stuff all into US cloud providers.
It doesn't matter if you use #Microsoft #azure, #MS365, #Google Cloud, or #amazon #aws, they operate all under under the same US laws.
And US Governments proved it again and again, they have no problems stealing intellectual properties to support US businesses.

ForbesMicrosoft Can't Keep EU Data Safe From US AuthoritiesMicrosoft has admitted to a French senate hearing that it can't protect EU data from U.S. government snooping.

Elon Musk to Take on Microsoft With 'Macrohard'…and sexual innuendos ensue🔥 “The goal is to create hundreds of specialized coding and generative AI agents. 'It should be possible to simulate [Microsoft] entirely with AI,' Musk says.” #ElonMusk lays on the sexual references as he announces #MacroHard (uh-huh), his new #AI startup that is evidently going to replace Microsoft (by ‘pumping out’ agents from its ‘colossal’ supercomputer). It’s laughable, but a ‘big’ stakes game. Both firms are in it for the ‘long’ haul, and will face ‘stiff’ competition. #humor #ArtificialIntelligence #Microsoft #OperatingSystems #Technology #TechHumor #Nerds #Geeks #LOL

Tonight, I'm having an absolute blast playing around with Microsoft's Flight Simulator 4.0 and its "Experimental Jet Aircraft" from the "Aircraft & Scenery Designer" expansion.

Seeing this old game, which is so dear to my heart, running super smooth in full SVGA resolution and with all of this extra in-game content makes my inner 12 year old jump up and down from excitement! This is what retro gaming is all about!

@moriel @VeroniqueB99 My suggestion is that we reach out to people in our lives and communities and offer direct assistance. Friends, family folk, neighbors, co-workers. Make it known you are willing to help. Organize and lead classes or workshops at your local library. Organize a "Security and Privacy in Computing Working Group" lol just spitballing the name there... but, you know, meetup twice a month as a kind of ongoing workshop.
