Apple just made #WSL a legacy technology.

Happy to recommend #macOS for container development. If performance and memory consumption against #Linux is negligible, then it will be my top recommendation for sure.

@jsnell did you ever decide on replacing the m1 studio? Im on the fence of the m4pro mini vs the base m4 max stdio. Sure i could get a 48gb ram but you are basically at or over the studio price with less ports/cooling etc. Most are overkill for my needs but i plan to have this at least 5 years so it seems that even though base studio is 36gb ram bumping it up to to 48 requires a chip bump too. Work machine is m2max MacBook and i definitely dont want anything for personal that i would notice a slowdown. #macmini #macstudio #m4pro #m4max

I was doing some 3D work when I noticed that my PC was a bit slow. So I checked out my hard drive, and imagine my surprise when I noticed that 75% of the available space is currently being used for system data.

Any advice on how to slim that down? The only one I've found, so far, is emptying the cache or (more radically) resetting the PC.

#WritersCoffeeClub 11/12 Do you write on a laptop, typewriter, legal pad, stone tablet, animal skin, papyrus, foggy bathroom mirror, etc. etc.?

Always a computer: either my #MacStudio or my #MacBookPro. (Just got my M3 Pro yesterday!)

On-the-go ideas get shoved into #Obsidian, usually via the mobile app.

And truth be told, I'm always writing in my head: poking at structure, listening to dialogue, wondering what Character X would do in Situation Y. So, my primary medium? Imagination.
