Yesterday, I got my 400 day streak completed on Duolingo. I also finished a friend's quest.

I think I need a break from Duolingo for a while. This entire past section feels like too much for me, and much of the Duolingo learning process feels like trying to find meaning and patterns from goo.

I started Lingodeer from a rec on here and the first few lessons give actual grammar keys! 은 vs 는, 이 vs 가. I feel like I know facts within a week, vs goo-understanding in over a year.

Using Mastodon and #translate, I am picking up a few phrases of Dutch and German. I'm sure my pronunciation is wrong.

I am inadvertently learning to read two new languages.

Could someone tell me what function the 서 is serving in this sentence: 함버거가 식당에서 비쌉니다.

Duolingo says it's "The hamburger is expensive at this restaurant." but I don't understand the 서. And of course Duolingo doesn't explain it.
