I need to get into live action roleplay. Anyone know any fantasy #LARP groups on the SW side of #PDX that actually still exist? The only ones I found last I checked took a break for the pandemic and never came back.

[Edit: Okay, maybe "southwest side of Portland" is a little too narrow. At this point I'd take any presently-existing fantasy LARP group within an hour drive of SW Portland.]

Artesana española enfocada en el cuero, especializada en recreación fantástica y fumadas raras en general, frikadas, rol en vivo y softcombat, Jack of all trades master of none, antigua forjadora de gomaespuma, sospechosa de neurodivergencia y, sobre todo, muy fangirl de mis mierdas.

Crafteo 100% con estas manitas cosas que intento que parezcan cualquier material menos lo que es. A veces incluso lo consigo.

I spent the weekend at #LARPCon promoting the #LARP group I'm part of. We run modern/horror/sci-fi events with a rotating set of GMs and genres.

This is quite unusual as UK LARP seems to be either endlessly running 'systems' that have multiple events a year in the same 'world' or 100% one-off events.

We're kind of in the middle, with things having short runs of events created by whoever has inspiration for something at the time. We have some common 'settings' but very rarely do we enforce continuity long-term. Stories end, new ones start.

Until then, my crafting field was foam weapon replicas for LARP, swordcombat sparring and cosplay, something I start leaving behind me the more I was fall in love with leather
