Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is the Brass Poppy's #gibson

60ml gin or vodka (used a local gin from Love Beer Craft: Ocì Ibò London Dry Gin)
15ml Cocchi Americano (Luxardo Bitter Bianco)
7,5ml Carpano dry vermouth
barspoon onion brine

Stirr&Strain and garnish with 3 cocktail onions.

This cocktail is seriously delicious! And the gin is a keeper for me, so much more enjoyable than Monkey 47, yet almost as complex and flavourful. There is a lot of juniper and a green, grassy note that reminds me of a good rhum agricòle.
Grab a bottle if you are in Milan.

House all tidy and ready for the housesitter. Packing done. No sign of the missing book, just wait till we get home and it'll show up. Now to cook a quiche for dinner, so we can take leftovers in the car tomorrow. Himself only has one more day of work (monday, WFH at son's joint). Retirement and Melbourne beckon! 1,5 cl Mezcal
1 cl Triple Sec
1 cl Limejuice
1 cl citronjuice
4 droppar Angostura Bitters
4 droppar Saltvatten
Häll allt i en shaker med is och ska den kall. Sila upp i ett cocktailglas som har (svart)saltad kant och garnera med en limeklyfta.
