I found this doc on Youtube, which shows how perfectionist Visconti was, with interesting set footage of The Damned.
Somewhere we also see Reinhard Kolldehoff, who I know from his role in Playtime (slam your doors in golden silence!)

Of for those who are already aware/awake but want to dig into a decent, fluent documentary which tells it like it unfortunately is. Just two facts (but it contains plenty): - Six out of seven species of sea turtle are either threatened or endangered due to fishing. - Fish farming creates massive amounts of waste.

When asked to participate in the Cinema of Our Time series, Chantal Akerman jokingly suggested herself as subject matter. She envisioned a film consisting solely of excerpts from her films, but when pressed by the producers to include footage of herself, Akerman grudgingly agreed, and divided the film into two parts.
Stilaan content met m’n dvd collectie. Al wat aan het verzamelen zolang er dvd’s bestaan. Maar wegens teveel spullen op andere vlakken, houdt die uitbreiding stilaan op.
Als er nog eentje bij ‘moet’, dan graag deze.
De film #lenfer van #clouzot met #RomySchneider (zoals u haar nooit zag) raakte nooit af en kende dramatische productie perikelen…
Een soort van #docu over een #film is vaak boeiender dan een film zelf.
Intrigerend stukje filmgeschiedenis, zonder enige twijfel.
This is an excellent documentary. It follows a single cow. You watch her give birth to a calf, provide the milk we drink, you see her graze in the fields and socialize with other cows. And then when she shows signs of age and illness, you watch her human handlers, whom she trusts, shoot her in the head.
This is what you support when you buy meat and dairy.
