Wybór padł na #Debian12 z #Cinnamon (a na słabszych maszynach #LXDE)
Wiele lat używałem Ubuntu, ale jednak to Debian jest najbardziej elastyczny i nadal ma 32 bitową wersję (a mam jeden komputer który nie ma x64!).
i cannot seem to find any helpful information about enabling my pcspkr beep in #Debian12. initially, i thought it wasn't working because my motherboard didn't have the piezo speaker attached. so i got a new piezo speaker and now my box gives of that satisfying beep when i power it up, and it beeps also when grub loads with "GRUB_INIT_TUNE" set up in /etc/defaults/grub. my user is in the `beep` group. i have the `beep` package installed. but running `beep` doesn't beep at all.
this morning's breif adventure: installing systemd-timesyncd on debian 12 because the clock was off by an hour
i still prefer having to add features over the experience of having to disable default features that i don't want (ubuntu) or constantly fighting with the os to disable anti-features that are added or re-enabled with each update (windows)
I've been almost exclusively using #Linux (#Debian12) for the last few days. A lot of time just spent tinkering and making sure my #OneDrive synchronizes properly, but yesterday I played some more #MetalSlugTactics.
Also, installed the #PHP82 server and made sure #VSCode and all relevant extensions work properly, so I can start working on the website again without booting into Windows.
Tried to get #PHP 8.3 working, but ended up not knowing how to get the right version of a single dependency.
I know the game has little love. but does anyone have a definitive guide to getting Fallout76 playable on linux?

Heute gibt es entspannte House Musik. Ich hab mein Hardware-Setup mit der Soundkarte und dem Linux-Rechner mit Reaper getestet und es läuft alles wie es soll. Dabei ist Musik entstanden. Viel Spaß damit, ihr könnt es kostenfrei haben. =)

Using the Debian installer to install Debian 12 takes me back about 20 or 25 years in my 30 year Linux journey and I love it! 
Starting to get a handle on ISPConfig. Things are starting to make sense, I understand the workflow. A few sites are moved over.
I am having an issue with email not sending but hopefully I can figure that out tomorrow, then it'll be time to start moving the larger sites.
I also took the opportunity to find a new registrar, I am tired of both rebel.ca and whc.ca and have 14 domains spread around each.
Found namespro.ca which offers good prices and free DNS hosting (which is the only thing I can't do on my dedicated box).
Overall, things are going nicely.
The moment of truth will be when I move over alberniweather.ca and see if it can handle a Mastodon-Storm. 
Figured it's easier to just reboot daily by way of cleaning up orphan nodes rather than getting under the hood to preclude them. Is this best practice or nah? #Debian12 Linux
