Just realized I never put up a pic of the Nuka Cola scarf I finished months ago. It was loom knit using Red Heart Super Saver Pooling yarn in the color "Haute". The patches I got from a seller online. I just love it. Perfect color way, thickness, and length for me, this is why I like making my own stuff. ^_^

One thing the #Fallout boardgame does very well is quests. Every scenario has one main quest and a bunch of side quests, and they play out like a "Choose your own adventure" book where you traverse pretty elaborate decision trees toward a conclusion.

But this is also where the game stumbles the hardest. There's no concept of private vs. public quests, so playing with multiple people you'll inevitably step on each other's toes in unfun ways. There's also a death clock tied to the main quest.

Today's @pixel_dailies prompt was "nostalgic", and I'm actually nostalgic for #Fallout76, a game that is both still around, and still updating. But I fell out of it like two years ago and I kinda miss it. Not really enough to go back yet, but I miss what it was and the bones that are still sort of in there.

I'm finally playing the Companion and Thieves Guild quest lines in Skyrim and it's crazy. Companions want you to pledge your soul to Hircine. Thieves Guild wants you to pledge your soul to Nocturnal. Where's the "Yeah no. I'm good" option that lets me keep my soul while continuing the quest?

I think every game should have a Yes Man option like New Vegas so that at any point in a quest you can just bail without leaving the quest unresolved.
