"No Web phenomenon is more confounding than blogging. Everything media experts knew about audiences – and they knew a lot – confirmed the focus group belief that audiences would never get off their butts and start making their own entertainment.
What a shock, then, to witness the near-instantaneous rise of 50 million blogs, with a new one appearing every two seconds."

idk. #Ghost is supposed to federate or something, but there's no information about that in the user dashboard and I haven't seen any ghostly account posting my blog posts.

Happy Blaugust! Finding Blogs to Follow
Blaugust is here! Even if you don't have time to participate by writing, Blaugust is a great time to jump in and explore the blogosphere. It's still there, I promise!

To be honest, I never really got this fedi integration thing with blogs. All they seem to do is quietly post your stuff onto Fedi without telling you and you look it up and find there's an account out there and you can't really do anything with it and it's a bit weird.
Hey @owls ! This is good shit! Thanks!
'I took the list of Blaugust participants and prepared an OPML file. RSS readers should be able to take this file and subscribe to everybody. Just be warned that you will be getting quite a lot of posts!'
So happy to announce this partnership! I've partnered with Sean Crisden to provide his backstage pass folks with audio recordings of my blog posts! This is how he's able to financially narrate these posts, so pick a slot, and subscribe! The first will be a Sensual Exploration of Chocolate, and then an introduction to my work, so check out https://seancrisden.com/pages/backstage-pass #Audible #Audio #Audiobook #Audiobook #Blog #Blogs #IndieWeb

Congratulations to @john and the rest of the @index Ghost team for launching their 6.0 version!
"The social web turns your Ghost publication into a networked social profile that people can find, follow, like, reply, repost and interact with from anywhere —bringing network effects directly to decentralized publishing. Popular posts can be shared, re-posted, and discussed by millions of social web users."
Does anyone know a good #book #blog with a functioning #RSS feed? I want to follow #bookreviews and other #book posts. I'm primarily interested in following #blogs within the #chicklit and #romantasy genres. I also really enjoy #romcoms and some #cozy reads, so if anyone has any recommendations for #bookblogs that fall into these categories, send them my way! :)
Thanks!
