"If he comes near me, he's gonna find himself six feet under; I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole. Not enough four-letter words've been invented to cuss him out like he deserves. I'll be in seventh heaven when he gets the hell outta town."

"Wow, you're going the whole nine #yards tonight! But hey, you can run him down eight ways to Sunday & you'll get nothing but high fives from me! Two's company, but three's a crowd."

"Oh Jake! You know you're the only one for me!"

Hey #yardwork experts: is there any secret trick to spooling a #weedeater? I've watched the videos, I've read the manual, and either the thing spits out line constantly when I don't want it to, or it's jammed up. There's never any state of working correctly. From watching my neighbors sitting on their porch wrestling with theirs, I think this is a common problem with the design.

I used to have the head where you feed on short pieces, and I might buy one again.

I have figured out what bothers me about some of the yards around here: they are planted for looks, not functionality or with any regard to habitat for local wildlife, functionality (for humans or animals), but solely for looks/decor. Thus entire yards made of plastic. (plastic lawn... useless, polluting, terrible looking) #random #suburban #suburbs #yards

What can we do to protect #insects? From #rewilding our #yards and balconies with #nativeplants and #flowers, to #greening our cities with native #trees and #sustainably grown #gardens, to stopping the use of #pesticides, there are a lot of immediate actions that can better protect and preserve the creatures and #ecosystems that we depend on.
