• Tho I guess once #MSLA & #Filament printers with #CNC routers can be made into #WashingMachine - sized units that can completely print, cure and assemble stuff within minutes automatically up to 2x1x1m then I'm convinced we'll see them as ubiquitous as todays #WashingMachines, because my Grandmas grew up without any washing machine, early "clothes cookpots" and died long after modern "fire and forget" units were ubiquitous to the point that if one household doesn't have one they have communal ones in the apartment complex or can afford to go to a laundromat if not get their clothes done professionally...

You're missing the point (re: fluid storage).

The point is that multiple battery capacities/amperage/etc is easily supported.

Think of ordinary household batteries. You have AAA, AA, C, D, 9volts, lantern batteries, "watch/hearing-aid" batteries, etc, all sold in just about every store.

"#Standardization" doesn't mean "just one battery type". It standardizes the shape/size and means of connection depending on its use. Kiosks could easily handle a half dozen #EV #battery types.

@ottaross can we just have legislation requiring that light fixtures come with *removable* light elements with a standardized plug? Personally, I'd go USB-C but that's just me thinking in standards.
