This week in the lab: A Marantz CD 73, an early CD player from 1983. Symptoms: A loud whine coming from the back with erratic behaviour, flickering lights. Then Mr. Angle Sharpener got to work, because this blade was beyond anything a little stroking with a whetstone could fix.
Cuts properly again. The wheel drive doesn't engage, but then I don't use that anyways so it's not high on the to-fix list.
Looks like I already put new oil in the motor last year 
Inherited lawn mower. Runs, but somewhat neglected and the blade is as sharp as the current joke of a US president.
Can't get the bolt open even at the 300 Nm setting, so I'm leaving it to soak in letgo spray while having food and coffee :)
