I'm once again on a Miyazaki bender for doing some master studies. I realize it's sacrilige, but Princess Mononoke is NOT at all a favorite film. Why? Becsuse there's not ENOUGH Princess Mononoke. Almost the whole thing is Ashitaka and Lady Whats-her-name.
I want the prequel with Mononoke's backstory.

All I remember getting from my grandparents was a bag of green plastic toy soldiers.

I thoroughly embarrassed my parents by expressing my dismay, exclaiming “Do you want me to die?”
