Hey fellow Linux musicians out there. Anyone playing Nord Clavias keys and got the Nord Sound Manager up and running without VM and windows?

Question for #LinuxMusicians - Do any of you know the difference between the Dynamic and Static versions of #DecentSampler for #Linux?
So many helpful answers here! Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about #Linux and #MusicProduction. So grateful for your expertise. Who's making music on #Linux? Is it realistic to replace a #MacBook with a Linux machine in a recording studio? Does it play nice with external devices? I've had some experience with #Ubuntu, I'm aware that it's not as user friendly but it seemed to work well "in the box", at least. Thoughts? #linuxmusic #linuxmusicproduction #linuxmusicians #MusicProduction https://appleinsider.com/articles/25/01/03/apple-ceo-tim-cook-personally-invested-1-million-in-trumps-inauguration
Since I just transferred to this instance from another, I thought I should reintroduce myself:
I am a cinematic dark ambient and experimental electronic musician in Northern Colorado USA.
In addition to those genres, I also love a large variety of others, including post-punk, slowcore, shoegaze, neo-folk, all varieties of metal, etc.
In addition to music, I am a Linux/computer geek, and overall tech-nerd.

As a well-known organ snob, I endorse this free, cross platform (incl. Linux) software. It sounds fantastic, looks good and has a very nice, clean expression to it.
Dear #linuxmusicians, #linuxaudio heroes!
Do you think we should offer our time to #plugin #vendor (s) for free to help them port their plugins to #linux?
I've always done so in the past.
I also wonder if we should form some kind of consortium to proactively offer support to vendors.
But from my own experience, and depending on the situation, it can quickly become a lot of work.
What are your thoughts on this?
Hey #LinuxMusicians and anyone using Free software to make music and who posts about it:
Give this a like so I can follow, please.
#linuxmusicians and #ardour users i summon you!
How far has the DAW come in terms of MIDI management?
I've heard it was a tad clunky a few years ago. Has it been improved ? (Or maybe it was feom the start)
Are there #LinuxMusicians who wanted to use PaulXStretch on Linux as a plugin in DAW?
It wasn't working, at least on Wayland, and I've tried upgrading the JUCE version to the latest. It seems to work now, but I'm not really using Linux for music production anymore, so maybe there is someone who'd like to check it as well?

You can try this dev release: https://git.badhouseplants.net/allanger/paulxstretch/releases/tag/v1.7.1-dev
Well, all of my tracks are free on #Bandcamp but if you feel like tossing a coin at me, #Bandcampfriday is the best time to do it. If you don't have any coins, that's totally cool, just toss me some words of encouragement. That's more valuable to me anyway.
