It's a book written by someone who--as a journalist--seems able to put words on a page, but probably not knowledgeable about the subject.

I watched Carnival of Souls (1962) for the first time last night, and WHAT an AMAZING movie! Love that eye acting by Candace Hilligloss!
If you watch it, make sure you watch one of the cleaned up and remastered versions, because it is actually beautiful with some cool cinematography. Also, I’ve heard there are versions of it that are visibly disintegrating, and that doesn’t seem great.
