Espen Eriksen Trio played a gig at the Traverse with Andy Sheppard guesting on sax earlier this month. It was a very relaxed evening. Rather lovely.

When I walked past the National Galleries of Scotland on Sunday evening, they were projecting images of their artwork onto the National Gallery building on the Mound. It was very effective, and great to see so many wonderful pictures. I took photos of some (on my phone).

Double #thicktrunktuesday here! First pic is the thickest trunk in my collection, a hazelnut tree (if I remember rightly, could be wrong) that resides in the #edinburgh #botanicgarden and the second is a somewhat lopsided tree of unknown (to me) species that's situated on the bank of the River Forth.
