A slight side shift for lunch…it’s grim as heck outside just now, I’ve got lights on inside to actually see about the place. This always cheers me up though.

Paul Rodgers - 'Muddy Water Blues' - A Tribute to Muddy Waters. Originally released in 1993, this the 2020 MOVLP2716 reissue. Probably quicker to state who’s not lending a guitar hand on this 😅

Day 29 🗳️

“A re-elected #Albanese government says it would find a further $6.4bn in savings by continuing to #slash the federal government’s use of #consultants and #LabourHire firms and ensuring #PublicServants do more core #work themselves.

The savings were announced as part of #Labor’s #policy #costings by the treasurer, #JimChalmers, who also downplayed a warning from global rating agency S&P that big #spending election commitments could put Australia’s treasured #AAADebt rating at risk.”

Public servants VS Consultants.

The Guardian · Labor releases election promise costings including saving of $6.4bn from cutting more consultantsBy Henry Belot

"Hair of the Dog" is a song by Scottish rock band #Nazareth, released on their 1975 studio album, #HairOfTheDog. The song, alongside "#LoveHurts", remains their most successful and popular. A tribute came in 1993 when #GunsNRoses covered Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog" on #TheSpaghettiIncident; consolation after they turned down #AxlRose's request for the group to play at his wedding. "Axl really made me more aware of Nazareth…" recalled GNR guitarist #Slash.

I've been dipping into YouTube this evening and had been watching a podcast with Anthony Scaramucci about the US election.

I left the room for a while and came back to #Slash talking about his collection on Gibson TV.

Appetite for Destruction is one of my all time favourite albums but I lost my way with Guns N Roses after that.
I've never seen an interview with Slash before. What a lovely bloke, no idea why that has surprised me!
