Belgian public transport companies quit Elon Musk’s X.
Belgian railways, Brussels metro STIB and Flemish bus company De Lijn quit social media platform X, the companies announced Wednesday.
"We are leaving X. This communication tool no longer aligns with the values upheld by #SNCB," said NMBS/SNCB in its last post on X.

#Brussels Midi station in spring 2001: this is the #Oostende to #Cologne
morning service, train #415, with a luggage van for bicycle transport right behind the #SNCB #NMBS Class 27 electric. Unlike most other trains on this route, this one required an engine change at #Aachen, the 27 not being a multi-current loco, able to operate in Germany.
Quelqu'un posait la question de l'aération des trains la semaine passée. Dans une rame I10 de la #SNCB, quasi pleine, le niveau de CO2 plafonne autour de 1000-1100ppm après 20 minutes.
Pas idéal, donc il faut porter un FFP2 (j'étais le seul). Quand la rame se vide, on redescend vite à 600-700ppm (j'ai gardé mon masque).
(Par contre, il y a des gens malades dans la rame, et des personnes qui reniflent toutes les 30 secondes au lieu de se moucher... )

He'd like to take his e-bike from Paris back to Brussels/Antwerp by train.
He can't find a train that takes e-bikes.
