📢 The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed today that #paramedic Asaad Al-Nassasrah, who had been missing following a deadly ISR attack in #rafah last month, is currently being held by ISR authorities.

And so the whole population, 2.1 million of them, are being squeezed into an ever-shrinking area in Gaza, literally being squeezed westwards towards the sea.

Now, in the meantime, there is no food, no water, no electricity and no medicine. And that is also deliberate.

Rafah was home to about a quarter of a million Palestinians.

It takes up about a fifth of the territory of the Gaza Strip. It is now off limits to Palestinians.

You have the eastern side of Gaza being cleared of not just Palestinians, but of the buildings that remain standing.

The "Morag Corridor" is located where the Israeli settlement of the same name once stood before being evacuated during Israel’s 2005 withdrawal from Gaza. By controlling Morag, along with the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, Israel will effectively try to divide Gaza into several parts.

The military is also attempting to expand its buffer zone in southern Gaza, which will stretch from the Egyptian border to the outskirts of Khan Yunis, encompassing the entire city of Rafah—covering roughly 20% of the Strip.
