Pytanie do naszej fedi spoleczności:
Co macie zainstalowane na swoich sprzętach? Z czego korzystacie na codzień?

Może zacznę od siebie:
Pecet: #CachyOS, laptop: #Arch
Przeglądarka: #Firefox + uBlock, uMatrix, betterfox
Rpi: #LibreELEC + kilka dockerów
Telefon: #GrapheneOS, przeglądarka #ironfox
Telefon_2: #PostmarketOS z #Phosh
Router: #OpenWRT z #Luci + bloker reklam
Odkurzacz: #Valetudo

Ciekaw jestem waszych wyborów. Może podpatrzę coś ciekawego?
A może sami macie jakieś pytania do mojej konfiguracji?

@nix I do, but I also maintain #sxmo, so I'm probably not a good example to follow :P

If you decide to try mobile linux, you might want to look at the devices #postmarketos supports, some of them are more powerful, less expensive, and just as well supported as the pinephone/pro

Had some fun today getting systemd-sysupdate wired up for updating A/B slots in an immutable #postmarketOS install 🥳

I tried to capture a demo of it working, with `mkosi vm` to boot the image:

The updates are currently local, the final design will have updates fetched over https and verified.

PS: This is my first asciinema thing and I'm not sure if I'm holding it correctly... so if anyone has tips on how to make this suck less in the future... 😉

Today I reached a pretty cool milestone in my work to build an immutable #postmarketOS: the first configurable bootup with an encrypted user data partition and read-only /usr (for A/B updates)

Still lots more work to do though, but please enjoy this janky recording of me trying it out in a VM 🥳

Thanks to @nlnet for sponsoring this work :D

This feels super awkward to ask, but I'm trying to crowdfund a used M2 MacBook for #postmarketOS development. My current ARM laptop can't safely run VMs (have to choose between virtualization or battery monitoring 😅). Daily-driving new hardware has helped me improve other ports (e.g. ThinkPad X13s), so this would help me work more efficiently and advance the M-series port in pmOS!
