I'm listening to #PMQs. Really pleased to see #potholes feature. But no #UKBinChat yet.

The abduction of Ukrainian children is grotesque, and the UK will play our full part in bringing them home." Keir Starmer reasserts that Russia will be held accountable for its aggression in Ukraine at #PMQs.
Even the Media are hinting at it....
"The Prime Minister was vague..."
The Immoral Mr Starmer
"Tough shit Disableds, get back into work you lazy freaks"
PMQs, Kemi Badenoch fails (naturally) and the only opposition to Austerity coming from Labour back benchers like Diane Abbott
The show came up in Parliament today during #PMQs, with the PM backing a campaign to screen it in schools and in Parliament: https://www.itv.com/news/2025-03-19/starmer-backs-campaign-to-show-tv-drama-adolescence-in-schools-and-parliament
Our nation's silly reliance on TV dramas to prompt us to take issues seriously does sometimes result in genuine good being done. I hope this is one of those times, because this is one of the massive cultural issues of our time.
We need something better than the Labour Poverty Tax - so here's a suggestion.
But is Keir Starmer too focused on hurting disabled people? #PoliticsLive #PMQs
At today's #PMQs, Zarah Sultana quotes #Starmer's words "#Israel does have that right to cut off electricity and water to #Gaza" she then gives an enumeration of Israel's crimes against #Gaza and culminates asking, "In light of these facts does the Prime Minister agree Israel is committing genocide?"
Starmer says he is appalled by Israel blocking aid when it is needed, and "we are doing everything we can to alleviate that situation"
This is a better response than one of a few years ago
There are 15 Labour Cabinet members on today's front bench at #PMQs
Not including Starmer
5 of these are men
10 are women
This is a good thing
Richard Burgon, at today's #PMQs, says, "rather than make chaneges to #welfarebenefits, the courageous thing to do would be to introduce a wealth tax on the very wealthiest in society"
#Starmer, in reply, refers to the non doms tax, which was weakened, and the raising of passenger duty on private jets, which raises bugger all
He then offers Burgon a sticking plaster and a gobstopper
Regarding the #Ukraine situation and discussions about a peace deal, at today's #PMQs Dave Doogan (SNP) asked #Starmer "what assurance can he give this house that the President of the United States is actually listening,"
Starmer replies that he "was pleased support for Ukraine was put back in"
I thought that happened because of yesterday's conference in Saudia Arabia, one that we were not invited to
Ed Davey asks #Starmer at today's #PMQs to confirm that "the disability benefit will not be cut for those who simply can not work"
#Starmer replies, "We will support those who can not work as well as support those who can work back into work"
I am reading this as further tests and evaluations as to whether someone is disabled or not
More stress
More bureaucracy
At today's #PMQs, John Slinger (Lab) sets things up for the #WelfareBenefits changes
"Will the Prime Minister set out how this government will give everyone who is able to work the support they need, provide compassion for those who can't work, and fix the broken welfare system?"
#Starmer replies, "We inherited a system that is broken morally and economically."
#Kendall goes "hear hear" to this and returns to her bubbling cauldron
#PMQs #LibDem leader Ed Davey makes an excellent point. The UK PM should visit #Canada to assure them of our support in #Trump's tariff offensive. It should be explained to the present US administration as often as possible that tariffs damage everyone, especially those imposing the tariffs. #StandwithUkraine
Watched #Starmer on #PMQs today.
Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.
Completely agree.
So why doesn't he agree the same for the #Trans community and the #NonBinary community?
