“It’s cheating, if you get caught”

Eventually cheating in games will evolve to become undetectable and games will have to pivot to pattern recognition server-side anti-cheat, or PRSSAC for short.

Imagine software that reads the graphic frame buffer and feeds that to an input simulator with human-like behavior.

Hi fedi friends! A recent conversation made me wonder about something, so I'm posting a 100% Scientifically Accurate Fedi Poll ™️ to find the answer.

My hypothesis (see? very scientific!) is that
trans people are more likely to have grown up with "social games" rather than "social media." To define those terms a bit, "social media" in this case refers to online platforms where the primary goal is to connect people with a larger social graph via the internet. Any other features are secondary. "Social games", on the other hand, means anything where the primary goal is to offer gameplay and a secondary goal is to connect players in a social capacity. Some examples:

- Facebook: social media
- Reddit: social media
- Instagram: social media
- Fediverse: social media
- any MMOROG: social game
- Club Penguin: social game
- WebKinz: social game
- VRChat: social game

This is not an exhaustive list, of course. For anything not listed please use your own judgement. You're free to ask if not sure! You can also consider
offline social media / games, if you feel that's more applicable to you. Just please keep in mind the "social" part!

Now for the actual poll:
"which did you first experience - social media, or social games?" I'm opening this to trans and cis people because I want to draw a comparison. Anyone is welcome to vote!

Please boost for visibility - I'd like to get a wide range of answers.

@JoParkerBear Nice to meet you! Thank you for creating JoWordle. I would love to hear your inspiration for doing so. I shared my results on Facebook saying:
Better than #Wordle, it’s Wordle with stats! (And I can avoid the Times!!) Upon completion it told me how many times I changed my mind about a guess and any attempted unknown words. I also play World Hurdle & Squardle, where multiple words each day are puzzled, sometimes unusual ones.
