Piedra Lisa Trail
Cibola National Forest, NM

This is the northern stretch of the trail before it climbs up into the Sandia Mountains. Trailhead is southwest of Placitas.

For those not familiar, this rolling grassland of piñon and juniper trees is very typical of New Mexico. Elevation here is approximately 7000' (2100m.)

Mountain Mindset

Younger me liked to say, follow your heart. Older me loves to say, lead with your heart. Believe in yourself, big change is coming. 

Been exciting to see so much momentum growing in the fediverse embracing the opportunity to create "public social media".

Steep chute looking down to Lake Cushman. Wet slide slithered loose from the slough cut from a splitboarder. Careful snow turns made a few seconds before I was ready to photograph the descent.
