I found this spot particularly hard to photograph. The shrubbery is nearly completely eroded from visitors - I had to use a small shrub to hide the barren landing and create the illusion the shot was taken from a well grown forest. On top of that, it was hard to even find a good view that didn't include various campers or boats within the frame.

I snapped this image with an adapted Pentax-110 24mm lens I picked up with the idea I might be able to use it as an ultra-small travel or street lens. I still need to try manually modifying the lens aperture to something more useable though.
One of my favorite images from my last day hiking through #SouthAfrica last year. This series of mountainous foothill like canyons made up the last 500m of elevation we would descend later that day.
Waterfalls in the Blue Mountains can dry out to a trickle, so I feel quite lucky that everything was I hoped it would be on this day.

I thought this scene would work best in #BlackAndWhite due to simplicity and alternating stripes. There's something mysterious and tranquil about this scene that I like.

For a #ThrowbackThursday I'll just share one of my fav seascapes of all time. I know it's probably not too fancy, but I just love the composition and the light and the colours here.
For #WaterfallWednesday, I am drawn back to stumbling upon Waits River Falls in Bradford, Vermont, while traveling to Maine last summer.

Really excited to share this image for #MountainMonday today. I took this image on my first ever trip to #Europe last year. We ventured to the #Mountains in Northern Italy for some hiking where we were greeted with freshly snow capped mountains. It made for an incredible welcome to our trip to this area.
This image has become one of my favorites from the trip. Hopefully I will return someday.

This weekend, we went for a family hike to some waterfalls, which took us around 3h. The weather was on and off, rainy and cloudy. On the way back, we made a detour to some lookout and suddenly a cloud rolled in and made it foggy in the middle of the day. Feeling lucky. As usually, the best photo opportunities for me are those not planned.

I've always been absolutely thrilled with this image I took of Crown #Mountain in #Banff #Canada
Specifically how the mid day light illuminated the closer peak and the clouds drifting between and around it to accentuate it's shape. The blue cast is from the haze in the air.
I might get a chance to revisit later this year which I'm excited about.

A deep dive into my first images after moving to #Vancouver found this shot. I like to think I was a trend setter, I'd bought the glass orb if my own fruition from a garden store well before the #Lensball craze happened. It was sat next a garden gnome and meant for a pond decoration.
While a bit cliche now, I remember having a lot of fun shooting these images and playing with the orb.
