New blogpost: "GrapheneOS on a Pixel Tablet"

I've used @GrapheneOS on my phone for ages, and I've been biding my time until I could get a Pixel Tablet at a price I was willing to pay (<£300).

That day arrived, so I finally have the tablet that I've been wanting for a couple of years.

I wasn't feeling up to doing much, so I ended up messing with the appearance of my phone, using the #FOSS app "Theme Park" from #Fdroid .

Will it stay this way? Who knows, but for now I like the flat icon look.

Man the #Tables app in #Nextcloud is incredible!

I'm using it to
#track my #sleep now, when I take my #meds and when I do certain #tasks/ #chores around the house to solve the syndrome of "Can't Remember Shit" that happens to all of us as we get older. Haha!

It was super easy to setup and configure and very intuitive and the "Tables"
#app on my #phone (I got it from #F-Droid) makes adding entries super easy no matter where I am.

Having concrete data to give my doctors is going to be very helpful.

NOW... if only there was a "
#Diary" app for my phone that worked with the Nextcloud daily diary/ daily #journal app as well! ;-)

Is the Free Software Directory sharing data with the F-Droid app list and vice-versa? Helping both stay up-to-date. How about WikiData entries for software under free licenses?

It strikes me there could be directory sites similar to the F-Droid one for libre Android, specializing in other OS. Or software across all OS platforms for particular use cases (multimedia, office use, etc). All of which could have 2-way data-sharing with both FSD and WD.

We are celebrating 10 years of #reproducible builds in #FDroid this year, and we are overhauling the way the build server works.

Thanks to the funding from #NLnet, #NGI #NGI0 part of #HorizonEurope, and your donations, our work is intended to power the future of #FDroid for the next ten and more.

Dig deeper for the why and the how in this 15 mins post: f-droid.org/2025/05/21/making-

I switched from #Feeder to #ReadYou as my favorite #RSS #app. The user interface in "Read You" is much cleaner and more visually appealing. It feels more modern and intuitive, which makes browsing through articles more enjoyable. I also find the readability to be significantly better, the fonts, spacing, and layout make it easier on the eyes. Overall, it just offers a more pleasant and efficient reading experience.

#fdroid just successfully built #TinyWeatherForecastGermany version 0.62.9 .

This is a #floss #weather #forecast #app for #android devices based on #opendata from the German federal weather service "Deutscher Wetterdienst", the #dwd .

This app has no trackers included, does not need any proprietary services on your devices and has been developed to work well on de-g***led devices running #lineageos.

It also supports #tindie_wearables via the #gadgetbridge app.

You can get it at #fdroid, #izzyondroid and you can visit the project homepage at #codeberg

Hi @sarahjamielewis
Do you happen to have a blogpost that describes the rationality behind the ways @cwtch is distributed for android?

In particular why not #fdroid and #accrescent?
This is a honest question, asked because I aim to adjust my security practice from knowledge obtained.

And the question to adjust my security practice came after reading this guide:
