I used to play #EliteDangerous on Xbox, but when they shut it down I dropped off. A while back I found out you could transfer your license to PC, and I finally picked it up again. Playing as a budding Imperial Trader. This site is fantastic for finding long trade routes. https://spansh.co.uk/trade

Really feeling the pull of #EliteDangerous lately. I heard that the #DistantWorlds3 expedition is starting up for next year. I participated in the Distant Worlds 2 expedition and it's some of my happiest gaming memories (and my best friend who works in gaming gets to say “yeah, I know someone who was actually there” whenever the subject comes up).
I need to get back into the game and start outfitting a current-tech exploration ship.
So.. What are we playing, today?

So, one week in, i managed to bring my Coriolis Station in solo play to 76%, thats everything except about 16k steel. I'm a little proud of myself.

Spent some time scouting for a homestead in 3311 and I landed on HIP-4055, a K-class yellow/orange star that's roughly 3/4ths the distance from Sol to Polaris. I'll be starting out with a scientific outpost on behalf of the Canonn science faction. #EliteDangerous #Trailblazers

Today I took apart my Thrustmaster T16000M HOTAS, both the stick and the throttle. Nasty jumpy drift on both stick yaw and throttle analog stick. Fixed with some alcohol cleaning.
Thank goodness Thrustmaster designed these in a way that you can disassemble them to atoms and put it all back together without breaking anything but your warranty terms. So many people have said that these last for maybe 50 hours, but I'm well over 200 hours in already.
