More than 80 participants joined Montreal's Critical Mass yesterday. The vibe and energy were excellent; however, the temperature was quite cold, especially at a slow pace. We finished the ride at Mabrasserie for a nice social moment.

I look forward to next month's event (with warmer temperature :-)

Calaveras Riding Bicycles, José Guadalupe Posada

One of my all-time favorite works by one of my all-time favorite artists. The calaveras are so expressive and what they're expressing is alive. I love every one of their expressions, hats, the guy with wings and a beard, the smaller bikes (children?), and it looks like there's a conquistador on the ground, they're rolling over that guy. I ride a bike every day, #unstoppable #healthIsWealth #art @art #freedom #criticalMass #love #woodBlockPrint

In diesem Sinne…let’s roll!

@tinker Also, Critical Mass back in the day was worse, we sold stickers and t shirts and stuff at more or less cost (a T short that cost us $8.50-ish for $10 because making change is a pain) and stickers by donation. Then every year we'd spend some of the excess printing posters to advertise our biggest ride.

And a bike light give-away then eventually donated some to a bike-related cause.
