I just decided to make all my 3D printed models available for free! Seeing all the great feedback and downloads on free models is much more fun than getting a few dollars every now and then.

For example, you can now get the articulated T-Rex model (which makes a great stand for small notes and pencils) or the modular dragon (with over 240 possible combinations) for free! You don't even have to log in to download.

@FreeCAD I have finally printed the blade for my light saber in transparent PLA. I have started optimizing the hilt for printing as well. I have also started on the electronics for illumination but it will take some more free time to complete the project.

So I have an interesting puzzle.

I have a hot air balloon shaped wind spinner hanging outside. A couple days ago, I noticed that the bottom had cracked. I thought that I would #3dprint a new one.

When I went to take measurements today, I saw that someone had used a bunch of rubber bands to hold it together. Everyone in the house said it wasn't them!

So I guess I have a mystery repair neighbor!

One could #3dprint a badge that upon inspection is not police/etc and start flashing it at the fascists when they try to abduct people. If they can have pretend badges or no badges, why can't I have a "Citizen's Defense of The People" badge?

"I'm with the CDoTP. You boys need to pack up your shit and get out of my zone."
"What?"
"Oh? You're going to pretend you don't know the CDoTP? Is that how you ass-hats are going to play it? I'm making a fucking call. You better be gone in five, mfers."

Yes, travel sized toothpaste and handcreme tubes have a terrible packaging & price to content ratio, but they ARE handy, so... #3Dprint yourself a tube to tube converter and refill them?

I don't have a file to share, the diameters, profile and screw thread parameters can vary too randomly. I guess this would be an ideal case for an #OpenSCAD parameterized file but I've so far only ever consumed those and never created any.

It's easy to build in #blender :blender: with a screw modifier though.

For what feels like months, I’ve been wanting to make this accessory for the crevice tool of my vacuum cleaner. Whenever I use it on a rug or furniture, I hate when it gets sucked down to the surface and stops suction. So, fire up #FreeCAD and a 42 minute #3dPrint later, I have what I need.

It’s hilarious how the model on my 32” monitor dwarfs the real part.

Wife found a pretty nice wooden connect 4 game, that looked like it was new in the box, from a garage sale yesterday.
She said she's one of these for a while now, so we bought it.

Only to be disappointed that it was missing one of the legs/stands making it pretty useless.
She was pretty upset about the whole thing..... so today, I 3D printed some stands for it - they aren't the same as the original - but I think they will work better.

Now she is happy again.....
