NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR JULY 14, 2025:

More #wildfire #smoke will push through the #Northland Sunday night, keeping skies hazy with unhealthy air quality levels.

#Temperatures remain #warm with lows in the upper 50s and low 60s, with highs in the 80s with dew points in the 60s thanks to a southerly #wind.

Most will stay #dry, but a few #showers and #thunderstorms push through near the Canadian border Monday.

Sunrise on Sierra Blanca peak in southern New Mexico is muted and hazy because of smoke from distant forest fires.

It's feast or famine in the southwest US. If it's dry in the summer, many fires burn and the air is filled with smoke. When monsoon rains return, and they will in a day or two, thunderstorms over recent burn scars lead to destructive flash flooding, especially for Ruidoso.

The #Northland will be more #humid the next several days as #wildfire #smoke returns from Canada.

It will be mostly cloudy Thursday night with very light #winds and low #temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Friday will see #showers and #thunderstorms pass through, with a few having strong #winds, #hail, and heavy #rainfall. Highs will be in the 70s and low 80s.
