Did you Know? Here is the SMART WAY of buying a USED Vehicle. All NEW Vehicles Depreciate 65% in the first 2.5 years.
I would drive to my Local Credit Union to get a Pre-Qual Auto-LOAN with the Cheapest Money on the planet. LOWEST Auto Loan Interest Rates = Credit Unions. Request a Pre-Qualified Auto Loan from the Credit Union, say: $18-$22K USD. Most 2.5 year old vehicles will fall into this price range.
Look for a Vehicle on Craigslist ( For Sale by Owner Only ) that has not been smoked in, No Pet Smells, check transmission by shifting gears -- They should pop into any gear smoothly and No Rattles in Engine. Lastly, get compression check on Engine Before you Pay Full Balance. Most owners will respect that decision since you are buying a used car.
NOTE: When you contact For sale by Owners on Craigslist. Most will first ask you -- if you are a Dealer. Private Owners do not want to sell to dealers who in retrospect FLIP VEHICLES.. JUST LIKE FLIPPING HOUSES.
General Public does not realize that all the inventory from Private For Sale by Owner Autos --are currently being bought-up like WILD-FIRE by Used Car Dealers. Many pretending to be actual private buyers. When they are trained & Professional Auction buyers. SELLERS Dont be fooled!
BONUS! Most 2.5 year old Vehicles mileage will be low enough that Bumper to Bumper Warranty is still in EFFECT.
Drive for 2.5 years and sell at NEAR or Above (for some) @ same price you purchased.
